Pedestrian seriously injured in early morning collision on Peterhead's South Road
A pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a car on South Road, Peterhead.
The incident happened just after 1am on Monday, March 22, at the junction with the Lido car park and involved a red Ford Fiesta.
A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Fiesta was not injured. The road was closed while collision investigation work was carried out.
Sergeant Chris Smith, from Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the car involved prior to the incident itself, or earlier in the evening.”
