Representatives from Genesis Personnel and ASCO went along to the school on Tuesday, June 28 to see the various educational tools and equipment purchased.
At the fundraising event each class asked for funding to help them purchase items including Lego construction kits, gymnastics equipment, K’NEX kits, Wii software, painting equipment and Numicon maths resources.
The nursery class also asked for funding to buy an outdoor learning tent.
Some items had been ordered but unfortunately did not arrive before the end of term.
School head teacher John Imlah said: “Had we not had this event we wouldn’t have the new items.
“I’d like to thank Ali Hynd for giving us the idea and for making the links with the local businesses.”
Other businesses that took part in the fundraiser were Cowie Seafoods, Claymore Homes, AM Davidson, LJF Power Coating and JBS Scotland.
