The Blue Toon will be host to an X Factor finalist next week when 2013 runner-up Nicholas McDonald plays in Buchanhaven.
The gig will take place at Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club on Saturday, 21 November.
Ronnie Arthur of the Buchan Community Radio drummed up the night, saying it is ‘not often you see big names like this in Peterhead’.
He added: “I hope the people of the town will come and support him.
“It’s going to be a great night.”
Door open at 7.30pm and support will come in the form of local band Raw Stereo, who will be playing an acoustic set.
Tickets cost £13 and can be booked on 01779 471064.
As part of the show, the singer will have a meet and greet with fans.
The Scottish singer is from the North Lanarkshire of town Wishaw.
He was still in school when he auditioned for the show.
He came second to Sam Bailey in the tenth year of the popular reality TV show.
After his success he signed with RCA Records and released his debut album, In the Arms of an Angel, in March 2014.
The album peaked at No 6 on the UK Albums Chart.
