Organisers of the annual MACBI Fun Run are appealing for volunteers to come along and help on the day.
They are looking for enthusiastic people to lend a hand to ensure the popular event can still go ahead.
Following the success of the first three MACBI (Mintlaw and Central Buchan Initiative) Fun Run events, Aden Country Park in Mintlaw is to again play host to the fourth family friendly Fun Run on Sunday, March 15.
The fun run event is aimed at both helping to raise awareness of the recently built state-of-the-art community and sports centre in Mintlaw, as well as providing the local community with a fun day out.
For those who are interested in volunteering, please contact Connie on 017716 24593 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The MACBI Fun Run has four different routes; 1K, 3K, 5K, and for the more adventurous a 10K, and each one sees participants of all ages walk, jog or run around Aden Country Park.
Entrance to the event is free for children under 16 with a £5 entry for adults.
Registration will take place between 12 noon and 12.45pm on the Fun Run day, but participants are asked to allow enough time to hand in their entry forms prior to their chosen race.
Medals will be awarded to all finishers and proceeds will go to the MACBI Community Hub.
More information on the Fun Run and race entry forms can be found on the Aden Country Park website, www.adencountrypark.org.uk.
