Australian musical star Suzie Mathers held a special one-night concert in Peterhead on Friday to raise funds for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
Suzie, cousin of Peterhead woman Vicki Forman whose son Dylan suffers from the condition, performed at the town’s theatre to a packed house.
Suzie, star of Australia’s Wicked and Mamma Mia shows, was accompanied on stage by Alasdair Brown, who is currently a piano tuto at the Garioch Music School of Inverurie.
The musical programme featured well-known songs including Amazing Grace, God Bless The Child, Popular, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Suzie said of the show: “This has been in the pipeline for a few years . Since I was a little girl my cousin Vicki and I have been very close. Two years ago I met her wonderful matching pair, Dylan and Caitlyn, who touched my heart and planted the seed for this little concert.”
