For the first time ever Aden Country Park in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire welcomes the hugely successful annual Puppet Animation Festival.
The festival runs from Saturday, March 28 to Saturday, April 18 with the first Aden performance to be held on the opening day (Saturday, March 28) at 2pm, with a programme of funny, delightful “Short Animated Films” especially for children and their families.
The Short Animated Films event offers an eclectic mix of beautiful visual styles and intriguing animation techniques.
Among many vivid and exciting worlds experience some musical seals singing for their supper, a delicate friendship between a rabbit and a deer, a cat and dog who fight in a very unusual way, and a workaholic whose dream holiday is interrupted by some very ancient animals!
Tickets are £5 for adults, £4 concession, and £3 for under 16s and are available both online and from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop in Aden Country Park.
The Festival activities continue in Aden Country Park on Sunday, April 5 at 2pm, where an audience is invited to “Twitawoo” a brand new puppet animation show from Puppet Lab.
Twitawoo brings to life Owl, Badger, Squirrel, Pine Marten and friends who all live in the fabulous Scottish woodlands.
Funny and mischievous, the forest friends share their adventures and invite you to help them look after their home.
Twitawoo tickets are £7 for adults, £6 concession, £6 for Under 16s, and £24 for Family tickets (admits 4, max 2 adults) and are also available both online and from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop in Aden Country Park.
Both of the events are aimed at children and families where children must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to the limited size of the Aden Theatre, those who would like to attend are advised to purchase their tickets ahead of each performance to avoid disappointment.
