The final preparations are being made for Peterhead’s next Muckle Market which will be held in the town centre later this month.
The popular Muckle Market will be hosted at the lower end of the town’s Broad Street on Saturday, September 20, from 10am to 3pm.
A full complement of 24 stalls will be offering a wide range of products including those from Waxed Wonders, Rhiannon Jewellery, Moo Blings and Jumping Clay.
Buchan butcher Ewan Morrice will be selling some tasty offerings, while Betty May will have a mouth-watering selection of sweets for sale.
Once again providing entertainment on the day will be Buchan Community Radio along with guest performers including Angela Ireland, Alasdair Corbett and Catriona Buchan.
Several charities will also be looking for support from market visitors on the day including the MS Society and Parish Mothers and Toddlers, while the Owl and the Pussycat Centre will be returning with their beautiful feathered friends.
Market hosts Peterhead Projects are hoping the weather will be kinder than it was in July when the last scheduled Muckle Market had to be cancelled due to a poor forecast.
They also hope to see the town turn out in force to support the ever-popular event as well as the local traders who helped make it possible.
