PETERHEAD film-making brothers John-William and Graeme Noble were celebrating recently after their latest film won a New York film festival award.

The Noble brothers’ latest effort ‘Shadow of Death’ took the coveted Fan’s Favourite Award at the ‘Holywood’ International Film Festival in the Big Apple, while a second film ‘Inner Joy with a Broken Heart’ has been accepted for the UK International Christian Film Festival.

John-William said: “We are now award winning film makers and are definitely heading in the right direction. It’s quite a big thing, it’s not easy to get accepted, especially as our films are quite low budget.”

The brothers, along with their team of actors and production staff, are currently working on their largest Christian film yet, ‘Call of Babylon’, which John-William says has far better production values than anything the company has done before.

“We recently spent some time in Hong Kong,” says John-William. “We had the pleasure of working with a number of star and they gave us some really useful advice.”

Former Noble Brothers actor, Steven Dasz, has landed a part in a Jackie Chan film since his stint with the brothers, while a second, Helene Leclerc, is due to star alongside Keanu Reeves.
