ST. Kane’s Church Centre in New Deer will be holding its annual holiday club from Monday, August 13 to Friday, August 17.
The club is open to all primary school-aged children and runs from 10am to 12 noon in the church centre.
This year’s theme is Old MacDonald’s Farm, and admission to the event is free.
All children attending must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the first morning for registration at 9.45am and collected each day by an adult at 12 noon.
Pre-school children will be welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking early is advised as places are limited. Among the fun included in the week is sports, space crafts, painting, games, live music, face painting, nail painting, jewellery making, singing, messy cookery, Bible stories, a football cage, quizzes, kids tattoos and food.
There are also loads of prizes up for grabs and tonnes of fun for everyone.
Meanwhile, a youth club for those in primary five and above will also run throughout the same week.
The club runs from 7pm to 9pm each evening, again in the church centre.
There will be free food and a tuck shop on offer each night, and all young people are welcome to go along.
