The Buchanhaven Heritage Society are now ready to stage their next general exhibition with a promise it is to be the biggest event yet.
A wide range of images and artefacts will be on display for all to enjoy and this time they hope visitors will “Go Purple” to support the Clan House appeal.
The exhibition will take place on Saturday, September 20 from 10am until 4pm at the Buchanhaven Heritage Centre.
Although the exhibition will be free to enter, the team have confirmed all profits from the sale of tea, coffee and home bakes will go to Clan House and in addition, donation tins will be on hand for the appeal.
Many of the images on display will not be seen again after this exhibition as they will be returned to the owners, so this is a one off chance to see some great photographs from the past.
The events always prove popular with locals and visitors from other areas and this one looks set to be a real crowd pleaser.
Chair of the society, Alex Geddes said: “The team have put in a lot of work for this event and we hope everyone attending will enjoy the day.
“We are also pleased to support the “Go Purple” theme for Clan House and know the generosity of our visitors are second to none.
“I look forward to seeing old and hopefully some new friends at the event and hope visitors will join in with the themed day and wear, or bring something purple on the day.”
