Two wonderful films are being shown in New Deer Public hall on Sunday, December 7.

The first is Frozen Singalong (PG) at 2pm which needs no introduction to everyone.

A great family start to the Christmas festivities and a treat for all ages.

Come along and sing the songs from the film with Anna, Elsa and all your other favourite characters.

This Disney movie tells the story of Anna, a fearless optimist, who sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

Tickets are £4 each and refreshments will be on sale.

Classic festive movie ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ (U) will show at 6pm, telling the story of an angel who helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he had never existed.

Mulled wine and mince pies will be on sale as well as ice cream, soft drinks and wine and tickets are £5 each.

Sue Robertson, Volunteers Promoter, said: “We are really excited about showing these two films before Christmas and expect a really good turn out so get your tickets in advance from either Food for Thought 01771 644366 or Pharmacy 01771 644217. They will also be available on the door.”
