PETERHEAD Community Theatre is gearing up for two action-packed days of movies later this week.

On Friday, the fabulous Rise of the Guardians will be screened at 5.30pm.

When evil spirit Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world.

With a cast comprising Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman and Jack Frost, this is one movie you don’t want to miss.

Then at 7.30pm the wonderful White Christmas graces the silver screen - with a special option of fish or chicken and chips in the centre restaurant beforehand, this will be served from 6pm costing £5 per person.

The fun continues for the younger audience on Saturday at 12pm and 3pm with the exciting Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted which sees Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple.

Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent - Madagascar style.

And what better way to top off a fabulous two-day cinema special than with the latest James Bond instalment - Skyfall!

After you’ve tucked into your fish or chicken and chips in the restaurant at 4.30pm, settle down for the 23rd action-packed 007 flick as Bond strives to keep a computer drive that has a list of British agents from being used against them. Hailed as one of the best yet by moviegoers and critics alike, this is one festive film you don’t want to miss.
