Peterhead will be travelling to take on St Mirren in the much-anticipated fourth round of the Scottish Cup on January 8.
And with the wintry weather playing havoc not only with match fixtures but training sessions, Blue Toon boss Neale Cooper is hoping to see a big travelling support heading south to Greenhill Road in Paisley to cheer on his boys.
The Balmoor outfit’s Second Division Boxing Day home clash with Stenhousemuir was postponed because of the conditions, but hopefully with the big thaw sweeping across the country matches will now get back on track.
The lads last kicked a game in anger on December 14 when they thumped Airdrie 5-1 at Balmoor - just 72 hours after suffering a humiliating 5-0 whitewash at the hands of Brechin.
In addition to the Scottish Cup encounter on the 8th, Peterhead are scheduled to travel to East Fife on January 2, take on Livingstone at home on the 15th, and visit Somerset Park on the 22nd to take on Ayr United before returning to Balmoor for the game against Alloa on the 29th.
Meanwhile, Peterhead FC’s special token offer for the bus to St Mirren continues albeit due to the Boxing Day game being off Token 3 will now not be available.
Therefore those with Tokens 1 and 2 will gain entry to the bus for £5. To register your names for this offer (and a seat on the bus) please contact the club on 01779 478256 immediately.
Remember to take your tokens on the day! If you do not have the two tokens you can still take this bus for £20.
