Peterhead FC’s summer holiday youth football programme is now open for children aged five to 14 to register.
The summer coaching programme begins on Tuesday, July 28 and run until Friday, July 31.
Headed up by Blue Toon boss Jim McInally, first team coaches will be in attendance each day with the following covered: Ball mastery, passing, control, dribbling, shooting, attacking and defending.
The course will also include small sided games, daily skill challenges, team skill challenges and tournament play.
An emphasis will be put on small sided games ensuring that everybody gets lots of touches on the ball.
All Peterhead youth and community courses in 2015 aim to help children increase their football skills and confidence in a safe and fun environment.
In advance of the programme, parents/guardians should note the following: Ensure your child wears suitable clothing and footwear for both indoor and outdoor venues. Children are advised to wear shin guards. Ensure that your child brings a drink, preferably water or still juice.
Booking forms can be collected from Balmoor Stadium.
Sessions will run both during mornings and afternoons, Children aged five, six and seven can only attend the AM sessions while children aged eight and above can attend all day if they wish but must bring a packed lunch.
The AM sessions run from 10:30 till 12 noon and cost £30 for the full course. The PM sessions run from 12:30-2pm, also at £30. For AM and PM the full fee is £55 and day rates are at £15 each. A 50 per cent discount is available per sibling.
Under the conditions of enrolment all applicants must include a stamped, addressed envelope if they wish to receive confirmation.
Payments will only be returned if a course is full or if the course has to be cancelled due to the minimum numbers not being achieved.
Payment of the fee will be considered a course applicant’s acceptance of these conditions of enrolment.
Peterhead FC cannot accept liability whatsoever for damages in respect of any loss or injury sustained to any participant during these activities.
The course participant agrees to abide by the rules laid down by Peterhead FC.
If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please inform Peterhead FC in writing.
