The official naming of Balmoor Stadium’s boardroom is to take place the day of Peterhead’s Scottish Week Cup match against Aberdeen FC.
Following their generous donation during the May Ball, match sponsors I.O.S - Independent Oilfield Services, will have the facility named after them.
Speaking on the matter, Symon Wadsworth, finance director at IOS, said: “The team at IOS are delighted to sponsor such an ambitious Scottish football team as Peterhead FC.
“Being promoted to the first division is a huge achievement for the club and we are thrilled to support the team and sponsor its boardroom ahead of the big unveil in a couple of weeks time.
“We are looking forward to their first match and wish them all the best for the season.”
Peterhead announced in May that they would welcome an Aberdeen FC XI to Balmoor during Scottish week to contest for the Challenge Cup once again.
The game will be held on Saturday, July 18, and will kick off at 2pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and under 12s get in for free.
The match is set to get this year’s Scottish Week off to a great start so don’t miss it!
