Peterhead Amateur Swimming Club enjoyed another great weekend when members took part int he Alford Otters 5th 100 meet at the weekend.

Emily McGee, Briony Rollo, Erin Reekie, Blair Reekie and Elaine Murray from the Blue Toon club were all competing at the event, held at Westhill swimming pool.

While the timing wasn’t ideal for the members competing in the school holidays, it was an opportunity to refresh some Personal Bests for those who attended.

There were lots of highlights during the sessions and all the swimmers achieved personal bests throughout the day in a variety of events.

Special mention must go to Elaine Murray who achieved gold in the fly, back and breaststroke events and a bronze in the freestyle, trimming an incredible 20 seconds off her personal best times.

Elaine also broke the club girls 11 year old 100 IM record in a time of 1.21.60. Well done to all involved for a great day. Keep up the hard work girls!
