Fast on the heels of the Peterhead 10k, 30 members of Peterhead Jogscotland and Peterhead Athletics club took part in the Fraserburgh half marathon.
It was less than ideal conditions but that did not deter William Riddell, Charleen Davdison, Lindsey Hatherley, Paul Smith, Kim Allan, Diane Webster and Jennifer Hill doing the first ever half marathon.
In a class field that saw Robbie Simpson of Deeside runners come home in first place in an amazing time of 1hour 8 minutes and 5 minutes in front of the field.
A special mention goes to Sheila Murray of Peterhead Jogscotland who was first in her age group and is now looking forward to the London marathon.
In the evening of race day runners and supporters went out for a celebratory meal. Jogscotland is now looking forward to the Braveheart fun runs.
This fundraising/awareness day is to show support to Dave for his Brave decision, and raise funds for charity that helped David and so many people in Scotland with Mental Health problems.
The day starting at 1pm will consist of Braveheart Fun Runs 1,3, 5km walk, jog or run and 10km Jog or Run plus many charity stalls in Peterhead Football Club.

Further ahead the annual Peterhead to Fraserburgh Beech run will take place on Sunday , December 28, and the new Jogscotland session will start on Monday January 12 2015 at 6.30pm at Catto Park.
Why not start the new year with fun fitness and friendship and register on January 5 or 7 2015?
