THIS week has proven very stiff with the fish reluctant to take at Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery.
Many theories have been put forward for the more difficult fishing , but hatever the reason, its difficult to predict the week ahead.
Despite all adversity the following catches were recorded:
B. Milton of Buckie (12 fish, dry/buzzers); K. Wright of Aberdeen (ten fish, buzzer/bloodworm); J. Bisset of Fyvie (nine fish, dry/buzzers); R. Donald of Macduff (eight fish, dry/buzzers); T. Harold of Peterhead (seven fish, olive lures); B. Hay of Aberdeen (seven fish, bloodworm/cat’s whiskers) and A. Murray of Gardenston (seven fish, black fritz).
Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is a Troutmaster water where visitors and beginners are welcome. Booking is not necessary and boats, rods and tackle are available for hire.
