A fundraiser in memory of a Peterhead man has raised more than £3,000 for charity.
On Sunday, November 29, Peterhead Jogscotland, in partnership with Peterhead Football Club, and family and friends of Charles Duncan (better known to family and friends as Jock), helped organise the fundraising day in aid of Chest Heart Stroke Scotland.
The event was also aiming to help fund Peterhead’s first Public Access Defibrillator, which will provided for the public use in the case of an emergency.

“It was fantastic to see the amount of people of all ages who turned on the day to show their supported to the family whileraising money for a really worthwhile causes.
“We haven’t got all the money in yet, but we believe the total raised on the day was in excess of £3,000 which we are delighted about.”
On the day Peterhead Jogscotland was joined by the fundraising team of Chest Heart and Stroke who promoted the event across Scotland and this saw teams from as far afield as Kintore and Hazlehead taking part.
