Five Peterhead Athletic club members represented the club at the Manchester Marathon event on Sunday, April 19.
Andy Davidson, Ritchie Masson, Trevor Calder, Martin Kerrigan and Barry McGee achieved personal times and for Trevor and Ritchie getting under the 3 hour 30 minute mark.
The club serial marathon runner Martin went under the 4 hour mark for the first time and is heading to Edinburgh on May 31 for his next marathon.
Sunday also saw members taking part in the Buckie 10k.
Leigh Strachan was not able to hold on to her title but nonetheless earned third place in a time of 40.59 and Cameron Robertson was third senior in 35.10.
On Saturday, April 25 a number of junior members took part in Run Balmoral school runs , Jonathan Needs did the 5km and 10km and his daughter completed the primary event, whilst on the Sunday Barbara-Ann Needs, Karen and Wilson Runcie did the 15 mile trail run.
On Sunday, April 26 Susan Strachan and Linda McGee ran the London Marathon with personal bests all round.
New junior training sessions have just commenced and spaces are still available for juniors and seniors.
