In the Gordon Leask Memorial Cup quarter-final, Longside met St Combs and after failing to convert two great chances Niall Buchan gave the visitors the lead.
The reliable away keeper Gordon was at fault for the home side’s equaliser when he let a header by Cameron creep in at his near post.
Longside took the lead when Cameron set up Harris to fire home from 18 yards. Dollman levelled the score on 35 minutes when he converted a penalty.
The away side went in front after Matthew Gordon set up Niall Buchan to volley home from eight yards.
The same player then scored his hatrick after a long ball over the Longside defence and he coolly slotted home.
Kyle Watt reduced the lead to one when he curled in a shot from 25 yards which found the net.
A quick throw in by Fraser let in Ryan Dunbar to fire home to make it 5-3.Chris Harris scored for the home side to end the match at 5-4 for the visitors.
In another quarter-final Panasonic faced Faithlie United and it was the away side which came out on top by the odd goal in five.
The winning goals came from Andrew Whyte who bagged a brace and the other from Martin Buchan and for the home side was Kevin Park with a brace.
In the Deejays Nightclub League, the only game of the day saw Invercairn face league leaders New Pitsligo and it was the away side that took the lead with a headed goal from Daniel kewley.
It stayed that way until the 62nd minute when a goal from Jack Donaldson drew the home side level.
With 15 minutes to go the home side took the lead when a cross was delivered to the back post where Craig McKenzie headed back across goal into the top corner of the net.
The away side began to press forward and Christie came close with his shot coming back off the post.
On 81 minutes the away side were awarded a penalty which Gibby Stephen converted to draw Pitsligo level.
The game was heading for a draw but on the 92 minutes Gibby Stephen fired home the winner to keep their 100% record intact.
