In the Brucklay Cup Faithlie United faced Clinton Thistle for a place in the final.

The first 25 minutes play went from end to end but no goals. Keeper Coyle kept Faithlie in the game with 2 brilliant saves but on 32 minutes Clinton took the lead with a headed goal from Simon Whyte.

Six minutes later it was 2-0 when Willie Noble scored for the visitors. In the second half the home side created some good chances but failed to convert any. On 88 minutes Clinton were awarded freekick 25 yards out and Willie Noble unleashed a fierce shot which went in past Coyle in a flash to book their place in the final.

In the Deejays Nightclub LeagueBellslea had Mormond Thistle as visitors in a league match and it ended with comfortable win for the home side after they won 8-1. The winning goals came from Jonathan Garden who netted four times and one each from Liam Farquhar, Jamie Buchan, Matthew Rutter and Liam Rollo and for the away side was Calum Brown.

League title favourites New Pitsligo kept up their brilliant 100 percent record in the league this season so far after winning 3-1 against an improving Mintlaw side.

The winning goals came from Gilbert Stephen, Neil Christie and Michael Fraser and replying for Mintlaw was Liam Webster.

St Combs faced neighbours Invercairn in another league game and the home side took the lead on nine minutes after a quick counter attack up wide right, the ball was played inside to Mark Stephen who flicked it onto to Peter Bruce to score. They doubled their lead when a ball in from Ryan Dunbar which found Niall Buchan on the half volley to score. On 47 minutes it was 3 after Peter Bruce scored his second drilling the ball low through the keeper.

Allan Taylor hit a fierce shot from 30 yards which was well saved by the visiting keeper out for a corner which Peter Bruce took and scored direct from the corner for his hatrick.

Allan Taylor scored no 5 with a header from a corner before goal of the game from 17 year old Matthew Gordon beat two men and smashed into the top corner of the net from 25 yards to complete the scoring.
