A Peterhead FC footballer has won a monthly award for his goalscoring exploits this season playing for the Blue Toon.
Rory McAllister received the Ladbrokes Master at Work award for August which recognising his scoring spree, including five goals against Falkirk in the Petrofac Training cup.
Nat Porter, the Peterhead General Manager, said: “We are delighted to have Ladbrokes on board as a sponsor and equally delighted that Rory has won this award.”
“It’s an award for the whole of Scotland and for a player from League One to win it is great.”
The award is not just football related and covers all sports throughout the country.
David MacDonald, a Ladbrokes Spokesman, said: “We look for a sports -person up and down the country and we have chosen Rory because of his goalscoring achievements.”
Rory went on to score his 100th goal for Peterhead in a game against Cowdenbeath on September 12.
