This Saturday Jim McInally is taking his squad down to the national stadium.
Sadly there’s no silverware on offer but a match against League Two’s bottom club Queen’s Park may be just the tonic for the Blue Toon after a frustrating week in the campaign.
Unable to replicate the performance which saw them crush Elgin 4-2, Peterhead slumped to a 3-2 defeat away at Inverurie Locos and conceded an agonising 94th minute equaliser at home to East Stirling.
Now they face a team who have conceded 29 times in 12 matches and have yet to win at home.
When the two last met in September goals from strikers Rory McAllister and Fraser McLaren proved the difference.
They are joined by in-form Andy Rodgers and should he link up with McAllister well again, Queen’s Park could be staring at an even worse goals-against column.
