Scottish Cup 2nd Round

Panasonic entertained Hillside from Montrose for a place in the last 16 up for grabs and it was the home side that progressed after winning by four goals to two.

The winning goals were scored by Neil Cameron who netted a brace and one each from Shaun Cunningham and David Gourley.

Quarter Final Victoria Coaches Cup

Faithlie United were playing host to Clinton Thistle with a place in the Semi Final up for grabs.

It ended with the away side Clinton Thistle winning by four goals to one.

The winning goals came from Scott Milne, Simon Whyte, Willie Noble and Alan Reid. Replying for the home side was Daniel Reid.

In another Quarter Final match New Pitsligo entertained St Combs for a place in the Semi Final against Clinton Thistle for the winners.

It was expected to be a close affair and was proved right with the home side winning by a single goal scored by Peter Stewart.

St combs played the last 30 minutes with 10 men after Neil Taylor was red carded.

Peter Bruce came close to getting an equaliser but he saw his free kick came back off the post.
