Peterhead FC’s manager Jim McInally has said he is delighted with the increasing involvement the club has in the local community.
He praised the efforts of the club’s general manager Nat Porter who joined the club earlier this year.
McInally said: “Nat’s done a brilliant job since he’s come in trying to get the community involved in the club.
“I must admit, when I first came I was saddened that there wasn’t enough community involvement.
“Especially since Nat’s come in we’ve worked hard with local teams and helped with coaching.”
McInally and players Dean Cowie and David Cox ran a coaching week with local children earlier this year and Porter has organised more sessions for the October school holidays.
