There was double delight for Peterhead as they enjoyed two convincing wins in the space of as many days at the weekend.
The Blue Toon travelled to Victoria Park on Saturday where they took on Buckie Thistle and enjoyed a convicing 4-0 victory.
The visitors opened the scoring after just five minutes with a goal from Scott Adam and added a further two before half time, with Leighton McIntosh and Scott Ross also on target. Jordan Brown got the fourth goal in 72 minutes.Then on Sunday the players headed to Inverurie and repeated their performance with a four-goal win over Locos.
Rory McAllister converted two penalties, while Andy Rogers and substitute Shane Sutherland also hit the back of the net.
Peterhead will now welcome Aberdeen FC to Balmoor when they play for the Scottish Week Challenge Cup on Saturday.
Tickets from the game will be on sale from the main office at Balmoor on Friday from 1pm to 5pm and from 11am on Saturday.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (under 16s and over 65s).
There is free admission for those under 12 years.
Meanwhile, the club’s summer coaching sessions will be held on Tuesday, July 28 to Friday, July 31.
