There was an added bonus to proceedings when Derek Wintour and Marianne MacDonald of Action for Children accepted a cheque for £1000 from Scottish Schools’ FA Vice President Gordon Pate and Lloyds TSB Scotland’s Daniel Gibb.
The monies were generously raised by all participating schools in the Fun Fours programme.
Daniel Gibb, Bank Manager at Lloyds TSB Scotland Gorgie, who was at the finals said: “Congratulations to all today’s participants for reaching the Lloyds TSB Scotland Fun Fours Festival.
“It’s a great achievement for those involved to represent their respective regions, especially given the high number of schools who took part.”
