The annual charity match between the Referees and the NESFA over 35s took place at Kessock Park in Fraserburgh on Saturday.
In a very competitive match Karl Noble gave the over 35s the early lead with a curling shot which found its way into the back of the net.
The Referees were awarded a penalty which was taken by Derek Davidson and although goalkeeper Bruce managed to get a hand to it he couldn’t prevent the ball hitting the back of the net.
Dale Nicol gave the Referees the lead with a shot from the edge of the box.
Jack Heatherwick extended the Refs lead to 3-1 before Martyn Robertson reduced the lead to one.
The oldies kept pressing forward however, and Karl Noble found space and got his second of the game to end the match in a draw.
A total of £400 was raised from the match, with the charity it will be given to to be confirmed at a later date.
