A Peterhead FC footballer has won a monthly award for his goal scoring exploits this season playing for the Blue Toon.
Rory McAllister had recieved the Ladbrokes Master at Work award for August which recognised his scoring spree, including five goals against Falkirk in the Petrofac Training cup.
Nat Porter, the Peterhead General Manager, said: “We are delighted to have Ladbrokes on board as a sponsor and equally delighted that Rory has won this award.
“It’s an award for the whole of Scotland and for a player from League One to win it is great.”
The award is not just football related and covers all sports throughout the country.
David MacDonald, a Ladbrokes Spokesman, said: “We look for a sports person up and down the country and we have chosen Rory because of his goal scoring achievements.”
Rory went on to score his 100th goal for Peterhead in a game against Fife team Cowdenbeath on September 12, 2015.
