Peterhead’s North Street is to be closed to traffic later this month so that works can be undertaken by the local authority.
Aberdeenshire Council has announced that part of the busy thoroughfare will be closed from Friday, August 23, for four days due to essential resurfacing repairs.
The council says drivers should be aware that diversions will be in place via Port Henry Road, Seagate, Ellis Street and Longate.
Aberdeenshire Council has apologised for any inconvenience that will be caused to motorists because of the works and advises drivers to check the council’s website for futher information.
