Peterhead residents and businesses hosted their own coffee mornings recently in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity held its annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event on Friday, September 25, and Buchan folks were delighted to join in with the fun.
Kirkburn Court in Peterhead hosted a coffee afternoon and raised a fantastic £617.63.
They would like to thank everyone that came along to show their support.
Staff at Travis Perkins raised a total of £146.16 at their coffee morning.
Meanwhile the Haggath family hosted a coffee morning at their home and raised over £200.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
They ask people all over the UK to host their own coffee mornings, or afternoons, and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.
Last year the event raised £25 million and the charity is hoping to smash that total this year.
