Aberdeen College has launch its January to April community course guide.
A variety of part-time classes are on offer in the college’s Learning Centre in Peterhead and in the well-equipped training room at Peterhead Fire Station.
Popular classes such as Computing for the Petrified, ECDL and Digital Photography are still available alongside newer subjects such as Internet Communications and Location Photography.
There will also be an opportunity for those who would like to join an ESOL class (English for Speakers of Other Languages) to be tested to determine their entry level.
Head of Community and Lifelong Learning, Joan Thorne, said, “We are delighted to once again be in a position to be able to offer such a wide selection of classes to those living in the local area.
“Every year, thousands of people across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire sign up for community-based classes run by Aberdeen College to enhance their knowledge, skills and employability.
“We hope that many more people will take advantage of the opportunity to learn something new in 2011.”
The new programme of classes can be downloaded from and places can be booked at www.abcol.ac.uk/community.
