Police still appealing for witnesses to fatal crash

Grampian Police are still eager to speak to any driver who may have been on the A90 in the vicinity of the Harehill turn-off around 5.25pm on Friday, January 21, when the fatal collision occurred, which lead to the death of local woman, Bettina Adams.

“It appears that there would have been a number of southbound vehicles on the A90 heading towards Aberdeen at the time and we would be really keen to speak to them” said Inspector Roddy MacInnes, the Senior Investigating Officer.

“We are particularly anxious to trace the driver of a Transit type van who would have been in the nearside lane of the southbound carriageway when the collision occurred.

“I do appreciate that some drivers who were in the vicinity may think they have nothing much they can tell us, but we would still really like to chat to them to confirm this is actually the case”.
