The Peterhead OAP Club will reopen its doors next month after its summer break with a host of activities for the older generation to enjoy.
Ceilidh and Line dancing nights will accompany the weekly bowls sessions in the upstairs hall at 21 Windmill Street.
A spokesperson for the OAP Club said: “We hope that this will improve the attendance of the club.”
The club will return from its summer break on Tuesday September 6 with Ceilidh and Social Dancing from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Wednesday’s will be Ladies Nite from 7 pm to 9pm while Thursday will have fortnightly Line Dancing from 2 pm to 3 pm starting from September 15.
Bowling in the upstairs hall will start on September 13 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 pm to 3.35 pm.
The club will also be holding a Whist Nite every month starting September 22 and a bingo night every month starting September 27.
The club have waived the admission charge to the first week of the bowls to try and entice new members.
They have also said that they are hoping to get permission to install a chair lift in the near future.
The spokesperson said: “A very warm welcome is extended to current and new members.”
