The Round Table Santas enjoyed another successful collection in Peterhead recently.

During a cold week the Santas were out in force collecting from the houses around the town.

Round Table chairman, Ian Hay, told the Buchanie: “Every year the town gets bigger and bigger so despite having two sleighs out every night we know we didn’t get to everyone and we apologise for those we may have missed.”

Mr Hay has expressed thanks to local businesses Finnie 4x4 and MB Plant for their continued vehicle support.

Thanks were also given to Peterhead B&Q which supplied the reindeer for the sleighs this year.

The collection would not be possible without all the additional support the Table gets from the volunteer Santas and also drivers Iain and Jimmy.

The annual collection enables the Table to support many charities and local good causes throughout the year and food parcels from Neish have been distributed.
