Peterhead's Arc Cinema plans for reopening in May

The Arc Cinema is Peterhead is planning to reopen its doors to the public in May when lockdown restrictions are eased.

The seats could soon be filling up again at Peterhead's Arc Cinema.

The picture house says it is “very excited” following the recent announcement by the Scottish Government that cinemas might be able to open from May 17.

A statement on Arc Cinema’s Facebook page says: “We are very much looking forward to opening back up again and giving you the chance to see some fantastic films.”

One of the first new films expected to be shown is Peter Rabbit 2, which is due for release on May 21.

Others due to be shown include Cruella and The Conjuring 3 (both May 28) and A Quiet Place II (June 4).
