Morrisons Peterhead is once again accepting second-hand books for its charity table.

The supermarket in Queen’s Street had suspended accepting books due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it is now able to accept donations again.

Anyone wishing to donate books should hand them in at the cigarette kiosk, where the team will be happy to accept them.

Customers must not put them on the charity table, as the books need to be ‘quarantined’ for a period of time before they go out.

All proceeds raised at the charity table – organised by the store’s community champions – go to Morrisons’ charity partner CLIC Sargent for the ‘Young Lives vs Cancer’ appeal.
