Hundreds of Blue Toon folk headed down to Buchanhaven Harbour last weekend for what turned out to be a record-breaking event.
Organisers have banked £10,775 from the gala day - breaking the previous record set in 1996.
Speaking to the Buchanie, Arthur James McKenzie from the organising committee said: “We had a few new things this year including a big dinosaur from partybox which was a big hit, Spencer’s fun fair with the waltzers and big slide and also some bungee trampolines.
“Love rara came along for their second year with face painters and their amazing Disney characters and there were some great boat trips and jet ski rides.
“It seemed to be the busiest year yet going by the number of people that turned up on the day, and everyone seemed to enjoy the day which makes the committee and organisers really happy.”
Mr McKenzie added: “I can’t thank everyone enough for all their help as the people who are involved every year put so much time and effort into making it such an amazing day. I also want to thank everyone for their kind donations and the tremendous support the community has given us.
“We’re looking to make the open day even bigger next year so we are seeking companies to sponsor the event, please get in touch if you are interested.”
