Grant Scheme open for applications

The Area Committee Grant Scheme for the Buchan area is now open for applications.

The scheme aims to make an impact in the 2016 by supporting groups and communities to contribute to social and physical regeneration within the Buchan area.

The fund has £86,000 to allocate through a small and large grants scheme.

Applications are being encouraged from a wide range of organisations and communities.

Applications must be for a specific project within the Buchan area that will benefit local people.

Projects must be completed within the financial year.

There are two types of grants.

The Small Grants Scheme is for projects under £4,000.

It can be applied for using the small grants form obtained from Buchan Development Partnership.

£56,000 per year is ring-fenced for the Large Grants Scheme.

Exceptional projects of over £4,000 will be considered for the large grants scheme.

Application forms and project plan templates can be obtained from Buchan Development Partnership, Maud Area Office, Nethermuir Road, Maud AB42 4ND.

Phone 01771 613666 or email for more information.

All applications forms, along with all additional and financial information, must be returned to BDP within the Maud Area Office by Tuesday, May 17.
