The Scottish Caravan and Camping Show will celebrate its third birthday next year with new dates for the event and an additional major new sponsor.
It will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 21 and 22, at the Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, a week later than normal.
The popular two-day event is held at the headquarters of the ANM Group, one of the UK’s largest farmer-owned co-operatives, and the date switch will allow exhibitors unrestricted access to the site during the show.
Next year’s event, which also features the Grampian Outdoor Leisure Show, will welcome Craigdon Mountain Sports, as official tent sponsor. The main caravan show will again be sponsored by Dyce Caravans.
John Gregor, of the ANM Group show team, said they were delighted by the way the event had grown and developed.
He added that the new dates for next year were as a result of feedback from both exhibitors and visitors. Mr Gregor explained: “Thainstone is a busy agricultural centre but these new dates will mean the show will have the entire site for two full days without anything else taking place.”
The show is the only one of its type to be held north of the Central Belt and this year attracted 8,000-visitors from all over Scotland.
The event showcases the latest equipment on the market and offers the best ideas on how to enjoy the great outdoors.
