The iconic gardens on Peterhead’s Landale Road have been furnished with two new bins, and may be spruced up further in the near future.
The bins were installed following concerns from a local resident.
Commenting, Councillor Alan Gardiner said: “The Landale Road Gardens are the only gardens in Peterhead. They are iconic.
“I was approached by a resident who regularly walks her dog in the gardens. She was concerned about broken glass and the lack of litter and dog bins.
“I contacted Environmental Health who responded by adding two news bins. There is already a marked difference in the place.
“I also contacted Landscape Services to see if we can improve the overall look of the gardens. I don’t think it would take a huge amount to enhance the gardens,” he added.
