New Deer Community Association welcomes the Kosmos Ensemble on Thursday, March 14, at the public hall.

Meg Hamilton on viola, Harriet Mackenzie on violin and Milos Milvojevic on accordion perform as Kosmos Ensemble appearing at some of the UK’s prestigious music festivals and venues.

They are re-defining classical music, bridging western classical music with music from other parts of the world making extensive use of their own arrangements, alongside vibrant new compositions, entrancing dance rhythms, soulful improvisation and passion delivered with panache and virtuoso technique.

Promoter, Sue Robertson, said: “We are looking forward to an exciting evening of music. We are setting the hall out with tables and you can bring your own wine if you wish but tea, coffee and soft drinks will be on sale during the interval.”

Tickets are priced £10 each and are available in New Deer from Chemist 01771 644217 and Food for Thought, 01771 644366 and also on the door.
