Mental Health Awareness Week begins on Monday, May 11, and the Maud Resource Centre will be holding a number of events throughout May to mark the occasion.
Renowned local chef Kenny Smart will be preparing fresh and delicious food at Maud Village Hall on Tuesday, May 12 from 7pm.
Come along and see how quick and easy meals are to prepare and take home a free recipe pack so you can have a go at home.
You can also ask nutritionist Ingrid Penny about how food can affect our mood.

Other events include a Stress Management Workshop at the Resource Centre on Monday, May 11 from 3.30pm to 5pm.
Drop-in health checks will also be available.
A Walk and Talk Tea will take place on Wednesday, May 13 from 1.45pm.
Everyone is welcome and please meet at Maud School.
Get crafty at the Resource Centre on Thursday, May 14 from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
There will be various crafts to try so make sure you don’t miss it.
Gym Kids can head along to the Old Mart Gym from 3.45pm on Friday, May 15 for a fun exercise lesson.
The final event is a Mental Health Awareness Course that will be held on Friday, May 22 at the Resource Centre.
