PETERHEAD folk will have the chance to view the masterplan for a major residential expansion on the outskirts of town when it goes on show this week.
The Aberdeen office of property consultants Knight Frank and archtects Baxter Design have produced the masterplan for South Ugie Village on behalf of landowners Susan Baxter and Terry and David Buchan.
The masterplan will be showcased at a public consultation event tomorrow (Wednesday) in the town’s Waterside Inn on Fraserburgh Road.
All members of the public and other interested parties are invited to go along and view the plans and representatives of the landowners will be on hand to answer any questions.
Malcolm Campbell, Associate at Knight Frank, said: “In line with the emerging Local Development Plan for Aberdeenshire, a masterplan has been prepared for the creation of more than 1,000 homes plus employment land, community facilities, associated landscaping and road infrastructure.
“The public exhibition is open to all and will give the public an opportunity to ask questions and share their views.”
The exhibition will be held from 2pm until 7pm. Anyone who would like to obtain further information about the forthcoming exhibition can contact Mr Campbell on (01224) 644272.
