Peterhead Lifeboat was launched at around 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, October 5) to rescue a possible casualty reported as being in distress from the cliff area south of Boddam.
The Misses Robertson of Kintail and its volunteer crew, along with coastguard teams, searched the area without locating a casualty and were stood down at approximately 6.50pm.
The lifeboat returned to its berth at 7.15 pm. The sea condition was 3.0M swell and wind was SSE force 7 and visibility was good.
