Keenan Recycling based in New Deer has appointed a strategic commercial director.
The firm announced the appointment as it eyes potential acquisitions.
Keenan Recycling expanded into the central belt last year opening an office near Edinburgh and investing in an eight-acre site for development in Linwood near Glasgow, with the support of a £2.2m injection from Business Growth Fund.
With plans to grow the business by taking on more sites and capitalising on the market south of the border, the company appointed mergers and acquisitions specialist Ritchie Clark, the firms first commercial director.
Mr Clark (39), a qualified chartered accountant, said of his new role: “I specifically wanted to be part of an owner managed company.
“Keenan Recycling has a vast amount of growth opportunities on the horizon, which will allow me to bring my M&A expertise to the fore.
“I’m commercially focused and strategic in my approach so I will be well placed to guide them on future deals across the UK,” he added.
