The Buchanhaven Heritage Society will host a Health Fayre with a twist on this weekend at the Buchanhaven Community Centre.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 12.30-3pm.
In addition to the following services being on hand, there will be a selction of old school photographs to browse, owls to stroke and handle, and other elements that will make it of interest to many.
Some of the health related stalls include: Healthpoint; Reika; Head Massage and Detoxifying; Healing Rooms; The Spark; Balance Budz; Bishop Family Fitness; Signposting Project; Nexus; Companions; AMH; Shared Lives; the Men’s Shed; Jog Scotland; CLAN; and CFine selling their wide range of fresh fruit.
As the work of the Buchanhaven Heritage Society develops in the area, one of the key aims has been to look at the health and wellbeing aspect and this fayre will see this element grow and develop significantly.
Alex Geddes, chair of the society said: “ We are delighted to welcome such a wide range of services to the centre and the area and we hope all who come along will benefit from what support is on offer.
“We are well known for our warm welcome and this event will be no different.
He added: “We hope those coming along will also enjoy seeing and learning about the owls on display and enjoy looking through some of the old school photographs on display.
“Many of the images and artefacts from our WWI event will still be on display, so there is loads for everyone to enjoy with their friends and family.”
