Are you concerned about your community; your village, and your local amenities and facilities?

Members of Deer Community Council would be pleased to hear from you, through your local representative on issues that matter to you.

Are you interested in local government? The community council is currently looking for people to act as community councillors in representing the following areas: Fetterangus, Knaven, Old Deer and Stuartfield.

Members are also keen to involve young people in the council as they need input and opinions from those aged 16 to 18 years old so that they can not only continue to work towards the improvement of the local communities but also to include the ideas of all ages in our considerations.

Your concerns matter tothe community councillors and to the future of the area, and anyone interested in participating one evening per month for six months of the year at the Maud Area Office, is welcome to go along and find out more.

The Deer Community Council area covers the communities of Auchnagatt, Ardallie, Bonnykelly, Braeside, Bulwark, Cairnbanno, Clola, Fetterangus, Knaven, Maud, New Deer, Old Deer, Oldwhat, Stuartfield, and Whitehill.
