A fast-food restaurant in Peterhead has been the first in the town to be awarded with a prestigious healthy eating award.
Subway, on Queen Street, was awarded the Healthy Living Award on 16 December 2015 after ‘hard work from the staff, franchisee owner Allan Paterson told the Buchanie.
“I am proud of the team for achieving the award and being the first in Peterhead to do so,” he said.
The restaurant’s manager Damien Razvan will attend an award presentation in Edinburgh’s Dynamic Earth on Wednesday, March 2.
The Healthy Living Award is a national drive for the food sector throughout Scotland.
It is support by the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland as a way to promote healthy eating.
